The Smith Arena Tiller

The Smith Arena Tiller has a sub-surface "leveling blade" that we developed to give your horse a smooth surface when he is stopping hard. This along with other unique features separates the Smith Arena Tiller from all others.
Smith Equipment Co. - Arena Tiller
We developed the Smith Arena Tiller with the performance horse in mind.

Go to almost any arena and brush away the loose dirt from a small area (2' x 2'). You will find the hard dirt floor is very rough, similar to a waffle with bumps or ridges 2" - 4" high.

Just imagine your horses trying to hold their stop on that!

The Smith Arena Tiller's "sub-surface blade" shears off these bumps and ridges grooming both the bottom and top of the arena, leaving it smooth and firm. In comparison to most equipment that smooths the surface leaving the bottom rough and uneven.

This Arena Tiller is built with tubular steel for maximum strength all welded construction and then painted with Industrial Quality Paint. Standard models are 5' and 6' wide. heavy Duty Models are 8', 10', and 12' wide. We can custom build your Arena Tiller to meet your special needs!
